Congratulations to Terry of Florida for winning this month! Thank you all for dropping by to leave comments. See you next month for the next giveaway!
Ten years after For Love or Country released, it has returned sexier and funnier than ever. The Forbidden Lady goes on sale today in e-book form for only $4.99. The hero of The Forbidden Lady doesn't have fangs, but he does have a razor-sharp wit. And he doesn't turn furry on the full moon. He turns into a fop! Dressed in lavender silk with a lavender-tinted wig, Quincy Stanton fools everyone into thinking he's a preposterous dandy, while he secretly undergoes some very dangerous spy missions in pre-revolutionary war Boston. Only another spy is clever enough to figure out his disguise...and she does! For lots of laughs, suspense, and romance, please give The Forbidden Lady a try. The laughs begin today in e-book form. The book will be available in print October 23rd.
A month after that, November 27th, the thirteenth book in the Love at Stake series goes on sale. Wild About You stars Howard Barr, the were-bear who was once a defensive linebacker for the Chicago Bears. I'm celebrating all these releases with three months' worth of contests on my website, www.kerrelynsparks.com. At the end of September, I'm giving away ten fabulous historical romance books, then in October and November, I'll give away ten signed copies each month of Wanted: Undead or Alive. That's a total of twenty chances to win Phineas' book!! I'm also running contests on Goodreads, so please check my site there.
But what about The Supernatural Underground? Yes, I'm running contests here, too! Today's prize is a signed copy of The Undead Next Door (Jean-Luc's book) plus another great vampire book, Intervamption by Kristin Miller! I really enjoyed it! International entries are welcome. Just tell me which you would prefer: a five-hundred-year-old vampire like Roman, Angus, or Jean-Luc? Or a young, hip Vamp who knows how to party, like Gregori or Phineas?

I'll take the older vamp any time. So much more to talk about and learn from them. Yeah, I'm that girl, the one that always had a crush on her teachers. Oi vai. Can't wait to read Howard's story!
Have a wonderful week :)

What's not to love, about an older vampire? The knowledge, the skills ahh. yeah it would be great to have a young one that you can relate to, but where's the fun in that. I want someone that's worldly. Age is like a fine wine, with time it just gets better. Nothing get in the way of true love.

I love Gregori, always will!
Older vampire for sure. There is something about time that lends experience and knowing what you want that makes it so YUM!
I'll take the older vamp.
I read For Love or Country and loved it. Can't wait to read the new and improved version as well as the sequel.
I have my eye on Roman. I am just waiting for my opportunity to steal him away...
Well since I'm in love with Jean-Luc. I would want a older more experienced Vamp!
Older Vampire! They have more life experience than a younger vampire that has the same experience as us. Their story, history, lives lived is so much more than someone who is say 50/60/70 years old.
I would want the older more mature vampire whom is worldly. Thanks for the giveaway. I adore Kerrelyn's books.

I'd take the older vamp over a younger one any day. The conversation would never get boring, would it? Besides, a smart older vamp would know how to adapt with the changing times and would be able to party as well as the young ones. The best of both worlds!
That is such an unfair question! I love both the kinds as each of them have their own perks :)

I would love a five-hundred-year-old vampire. A hot gentleman who can answer my questions about the XVIII century, who can teach my how to dance in the moonlight... Yes, the older vamp sounds just amazing.
Thanks for the giveaway.

I'm not much of a party animal myself, so I'll go with the older vampire.
I would also have to say definitely an older vampire such as Roman or Angus! The things they have seen and done, so the stories they could tell, would be amazing. But also the idea of having an actual gentleman, a man that was born in the time of chivalry and that old world charm, would fit more in my personality! lol
Love Kerrelyn's books! Jeean-Luc is such a great example of the old world charm but up with the times (my) kind of vampire!

A five hundred year old vampire like Jean-Luc. I loved him!!!

Oh, give me Roman,Angus and Jean - Luc anytime. Nothing like a 500 year old to converse with and he's also got the stamina to probably last 500 years. lol

Congrats on the release, Kerrelyn of The Forbidden Lady. I always liked The Scarlet Pimprinell & this looks like a similar type of story.
Can't wait for Howards story though. LOVE your Shapeshifters/Vamps.
If I had to choose I'd prefer a younger, hipper Vamp to keep me young;)

I'd rather have the five-hundred-year-old vampire like Roman, Angus or Jean-Luc. There's nothing like experience for me.
Barbed1951 at aol dot com
oh older vamp all the way...gimme Angus any time, any place, any way =D....stubborn, five-hundred-year-old manly men what else can a girl ask?!? =)
Thanks for the giveaway, can´t wait for Howard!!!
Sounds like an amazing read!
I like the old vampires! They have all that old world charm! Thanks for the giveaway.

I definitely want Angus! He is probably my all time favorite (although I love them all). Not only is he sexy, has a great accent, but he has seen so much throughout history and I would love to see his castle. Plus, he wears a kilt ;)
I will definitely be getting TFL, but I will be waiting til it comes out in print, must have it to put on my bookshelf with your PNR books!

I would take older vamp as they are alot wiser and knows more how to make a lady happy! Kayko118(at)yahoo.com
I like the older more experienced vampires, they would have so much more to talk about and i just like older guys lol
amy2read89@gmail.com
I'd like Jean-Luc. Although the older more experience are wonderful, sometimes it's nice to have the younger taster ones for a change.
The young ones are great, but give me an older vamp any day of the week! Love Roman and Connor! Happy release day and can't wait to hear Howard's story.
I gotta say the old ones. Roman is my absolute favorite.<3 Although Jean-Luc is a close second.
i adore this book expecially when they go to the fair - thank you for the chance to win

I prefer the older one, more stories to tell :D
Thank you for the chance! Love all your books!
If the male of the species were actually my thing, I'd go for Angus. I love seeing men in skirts. LOL
Kerrelyn Sparks.... You rock!!!Don't ever stop writing your fabulous stories!!!! :)
I guess I am more of the 500 yr old vampire...especially Ian. He's my fave, but all of them are super hot and very fun.
blueyedgal623 at gmail dot com
Definitely the older vamps. Lots more history there. And I love history. Hot, sexy history...lol!
meghanirene89@yahoo.com
Thanks, Kerrelyn, can't wait to read Howard's story!
I would choose a 500 year old vamp ;)

An older sexier Vamp any day will get my vote, and me if he plays his cards right...LOL. I love the old world charm that they bring to the story.
Don't get me wrong, I love the young ones to but the older vamps are just so much sexier, especially with their accents.
I love to dance--especially the athletic-style partner dancing from the disco era (yeah, yeah, I'm showing my age). I'll have to go with Gregori.
Tough decision but here's my logic. I can barely get my hubby (late 50s) to ask for directions somewhere--what would I do with a 500+ yr-old man who couldn't get a cell phone signal?!?!?
Can't wait for TFL to come out in print. Kerralyn's books are keepers for my shelves.
Thanks for the great reading!

Sorry--it's late and my glasses need cleaning. iamemi01 at gmail dot com
Phineas, Dr. Phang, Love Doctor for sure. I was sorry he and Lara's room mate/best friend didn't end up a couple. Does Lara's best friend end up overcoming her vampire aversion like Emma Watson.
Lisa_Butz2001@yahoo.com
That is a hard choice, I love all those characters!! But if you insist I choose than I will choose Roman..sigh
Give me a 500-year-old Scottish vampire (or werewolf) any day over a young, hip party vamp or were!re
I would prefer the five-hundred-year-old vampire. Just think of all the stories he could tell! After he bit me I would live for five hundred years and pass all my stories to my vampire children.
