cleaning the house, don't you feel bad for me? I had a new kitchen floor put in and now the whole downstairs is covered in a layer of grime. Hope to see a movie too and sneak in some reading of Scarifice by Dakota Banks.

Doing some "fall cleaning" and moving my daughter to a bigger bedroom. Translation: "dejunkifying" two rooms at once.

Collecting mom at at the airport when she returns from Michigan, looking at pics while riding out Hurricane Earl. Do alittle reading while ignoring the weather (I hope). Then for the night, have some snuggle time with the hubby.

Happy Labor Day, everyone, and good luck in the contest!

Hey, you people who are working this weekend have it ALL wrong! Having just cleaned out two attics and repainted my living room, I'm doing nothing this weekend, except maybe some writing! :-)

I'm hoping the kids will let me relax with a book. Later we will bbq our favorites, then probably a movie with the family.

I hope everyone has a fun & safe Labor Day Weekend!
We'll be going to a concert Friday night and Gecko Fest Saturday. Sun. & Mon. are open to Disney, cleaning and/or maybe a small get-together with friends. Or just relaxing, haven't decided yet. =)
Happy Labor Day!

My daughter has a tennis meet on Friday, a tennis invitational all day Saturday, Sunday we go to my husbands annual family reunion, and traditional softball game. (I had my nose broken there one year!) Then relax Monday as my husband will be playing golf! Maybe I'll get to pick up a book then!

I am going to the Huz's company picknik hosted by his organic food Co-op and now since so many people have kids there will be a huge area to wrangle your kids into and then eat yourself into bliss by the lake.

Unfortunately I don't know yet. I may be working. I have to get my schedule for next week still so I cannot make any plans as of yet. Hoping to do something fun. BBQ, movie? Something to get me out of the house other than having to work.

Just me, my sofa and my books... :)
couldn't be more perfect - only if I could read those awesome Dark Days books to call my own... I'm sick of borrowing them from my friends xD

My bf and possibly my two best friends (one might have to work and we expect the other one to disappear because she really doesn't want to go but never says that but we're use to her behaviour by now since I've known her since kindergarten so when we find out she's not home it will be no surprise and if she is actually home I will be shocked as hell because that NEVER happens. longest run on sentence ever right there too ^^;;) ANYWAYS we're going to Mackinaw Island for Labor Day. My bf's never been there and I've only been there once (no cars allowed) so even if my friends can't go, he and I will go and have lots of fun.

Looking forward to a fun weekend. Two BBQ's, one at our house, one at my sisters. Attending my son's road bike race on Sunday, then Monday is me day, and I get to read, read, read.

I will definitely spent my labor day in the cabin of the beautiful woods there is around here. Eating donuts with hot chocolate and reading in the sofa lots of books I'm dying to read. I wish I had the dark days series, that would be just too awesome. *sighs* :)

I plan on spending my labor day laying around reading and catching up on all my DVR'd tv shows. I already have my books picked out!

JenM said...

Reading, reading, reading - that's my plan and I'm sticking with it. The only thing to be resolved is whether I'll be reading on my lovely new deck, or curled up inside on my favorite chair - probably a little of both.

Oh and house cleaning. :) It'll be a busy weekend but a great break from the office!

Ah, yes, college football. I was put on notice two weeks ago that nothing could interrupt last night's Gamecocks opener. :-)

Next to the Gamecocks ('cuz that's the hubby's alma mater), Go Gators!! LOL

Congratulations, Chalene!

Hi,
This weekend I took my 2 daughters to the Newport RI, Waterfront Irish Festival. The festival was from Sept 4-6 but I could only go one day but it was a blast. I love hearing Celtic music and watching the Irish dancers, plus all the different foods..yummy.
~I wish you all a great and relaxing holiday.~
