Shameless Self-Promotion

And the Winners Are:

With the help of Random.Org, I have your hot stuff right here. Would the following people email me their mailing addresses?

1. Sara
2. Unseelieme
3. SiNn
4. Casey H.

Thanks for all the fabulous hero recommendations! My To Be Read pile is just climbing and climbing. ;) If you didn't win, not to worry: there'll be another contest soon, and next time, I'll be giving away an ARC of Blood of the Wicked to a lucky reader.

XOXO

Here's the deal, my lovelies: I spent all night long dressed to the nines and pretending to be faerie at a masquerade ball. Because of this, my head is only just taped together and I haven't even made it through my first cup of coffee yet.

So although I desperately flail to be entertaining—this is how much I love y'all, realize—I shall take this moment to shamelessly promote myself. Well, not me. No one cares about me. All the buzz I'm hearing is about Silas, the rather angry hero of May 31st's release, Blood of the Wicked.

In honor of the upcoming debut, and definitely in honor of the man working his ass off inside it, I'm going to offer a simple contest. It's a two-parter, so are you ready?

Step One

Sign up on my newsletter. There's a reason for this! Firstly, it'll keep you up to date on the announcements, releases, glorious covers, some exclusive contests and first dibs on excerpts. And (bonus!) I only intend to send it out every three months. That's 4 a year, and maybe one or two for the Really Very Big Announcements(tm).

Secondly, the first newsletter is going out March 1st, and you will not want to miss what's in it!

Step Two

Leave a comment and tell me your absolute, most favorite hero of all time. Who is he? What book is he from? Why do you love him so?

Shall I start? I think I shall: Right now, my absolute favorite hero is Jericho Barrons from Karen Marie Moning's Fever series. More of an anti-hero, a dark hero, he nevertheless has imprinted himself forever on my heart—aggressive, sensual, wildly mysterious, predatory, demanding. If he were mine, I'm pretty sure one of us would be dead, but oh, what a ride.

I will choose randomly four—yes, four—people who have completed both. (If you already signed up to my newsletter, I thank you and it shall be counted, never fear!) These four will receive a little something-something, plus an extra little something-something that isn't being offered until the newsletter comes out.

I'll be picking the winners tomorrow (Sunday), so get in while you can! The winners will be announced on this post, so make sure to check back and follow the easy instructions I'll post then.

But Wait! There's More...

Keep your eyes peeled, because either in April or May, I'll be offering a major contest where a lucky winner could receive an ARC for Blood of the Wicked. How can you make sure to get in on this? Easy... Just follow me on Facebook or Twitter, and keep an eye on my blog at Teatime Iniquity. Or watch the Supernatural Underground. There's a million ways to wear the stalking hat.

So, let's hear them, people. Get thee to that newsletter, and then tell me who your favorite hero is. I'm dying to know.

I have to say it's Jamie Fraser. First because he's a Highlander. But he's engraved in my heart for being such a loyal and loving man. He's suffered horribly and yet he loves with a tenderness beyond belief. He's definitely a rugged man and still has a gentleness in him that pulls people to him. I love him. :)Of course, there is the Brogue and the kilt . lol Signed up for the newsletter as well.

to be honest. My hero is my husband! And yes, he does star in a book. I created a picture book for him on our 1st anniversary!

Well I tend to fall in love with the hero in the last book I read. So I would have to say Kouger from Pamela Palmer's Hunger Untamed (Feral Warriors series). He is very alpha, guarded, heart-broken and fierce. I love a tortured hero!

My favourite hero is Roarke from the In Death series by JD Robb. He's arrogant, charming, ruthless, protective of those he loves and incredibly romantic. It's hard not to love him.

I have to agree with you on Barrons being amazing but I'm also completely in love with Bones (from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress).

I signed up for your newsletter and I can't wait to see what March 1 brings!!

Dracula is my favorite hero. He's the ultimate bad-boy. I like how he's represented in Bram Stoker's Dracula and in Karen Essex's Dracula in Love.

While I LOVE Barrons, I have to say my favorite hero is Dante Baptiste from Adrian Phoenix's Maker series.

Half vampire, half fallen-angel, and a creator, abused as a child, everyone wants to control him - the govt, the Fallen, nightkind and worse. He's bad ass, but even with everything he's suffered through, he loves deeply. (sigh)

Right now... I'm all kinds of fallen for Wyatt Kennedy via Sydney Croft's ACRO series, Drew Kincaid in Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series and Vasili from Gena Showalter's Ever Night within the On the Hunt anthology. All flawed, all emotionally charged and faceted by blood, darkness and loyalty. My favourite(s) change consistently, per book I read, but they all interchange when the word "absolute" is attached to them. Le sigh. ;)

I'm already all signed up for your newsletter.

Really have to agree with you about Barrons. He is awesome. A close second and first when Im not in a strong paranormal mood is Roarke. There is nothing bad there.

I signed up for your newsletter.

Looking forward to reading your book too.

My favorite hero is Dageus from Karen Marie Moning's "The Dark Highlander". It was the first book I read by KMM and remains my all time favorite. He is a tortured, strong, hot and sexy hero. Did I mention HOT? ;)

Right now, I'd say it's Sebastian Wroth from Kresley Cole's IAD series. He narrowly beat out Bones from Frost's Night Huntress series and Clay from Armstrong's Women of the Underworld series.

All of these heroes sound so fab, and I'm seeing enough repeat offenders that I'm thinking I'll have to go right out and get every single one of these books. Those heroes must be doing something right, eh?

I'll be posting the winners shortly. Thanks for recommending! (Ah ha! So my plot is revealed... ;) )
