While I would like to think Dougal is wearing nothing under that kilt I don't think that would be much help with carrying/hiding any weapons for the battles. If he is wearing anything it'll be colored the same as his kilt, I believe.

Happy Dougal Day! I'm debating if Dougal is a boxers or briefs kind of guy. Or maybe he likes to go commando since he is wearing a kilt!
I wouldn't say "there is nothing" under his kilt and it definitively wouldn't be "wee" either; my first thought was a Prince Albert or something similar and his dragon might carry a mighty lance as well. ;) But whatever it is, we'll find out when we read, won't we?

So glad the book is coming out tomorrow! I've pre-ordered it and it should be just in time since I'm re-reading the series and I'm up to Gregori's book. I read fast, so I'll have to have Dougal by the end of the week.
